This show was inspired by coaches who give their team a pep talk before the big game. They say things like "You can do it!" and "Be the best you can be!" That kind of motivation is what this magic show is all about. These magic routines are full of lots of audience participation that builds up good self-esteem. The children are the stars of this show because they are the ones who make the magic happen. All the kids will leave the show feeling good about themselves. Brett bought the rights to David Copperfield's Project Magic, and the curriculum is based on that. Project Magic was written by Julie DeJean, administrative director of Stormont-Vail West, a behavioral medicine hospital in Topeka, Kansas. It is designed to aid in cognitive function, speech, self-esteem, depression, and social skills.
